Walking in Your God-Designed Purpose and Calling

As women, we often find ourselves questioning our purpose and whether or not we are fulfilling it. But what if I told you that your purpose exists and is uniquely designed for you by God? That’s right, you are exactly where God wants you to be and walking in your God-designed purpose, right now! You are not late.

If you want to move forward even deeper into your God-designed  purpose do the following:

If you're not already doing so, the first and most important step in walking in your God-designed purpose is to establish a relationship with Him and seek first His kingdom. In order to understand your calling, you have to know the One who created you. This involves developing a consistent prayer life and studying the Word of God. As you spend time with Him, you will begin to understand the desires, skills, gifts, and talents He has placed within you.

Secondly, once you have identified your gifts and passions, it’s important to take action. It’s not enough to simply know what you’re good at, you have to put it into practice. Whether it’s volunteering at your local church or mentoring young girls in your community, start taking active steps toward fulfilling your purpose.

Thirdly, trust God’s timing. It’s easy to get impatient and want things to happen in our own timeframe. However, if we believe that God has a plan for our lives, we have to trust that His timing is perfect. This means being patient and understanding that sometimes our purpose will take time to unfold. Know that God is building you up to be able to sustain and thrive where He ultimately has for you to go. Focus on growing and learning each day and the Lord will reveal the necessary steps for you to take.

Fourthly, surround yourself with a supportive community. Walking in your purpose is not always easy and having a support system can make all the difference. Join a small group or find a coach who can encourage you and keep you accountable.  If you find that you need guidance, support, or a boost of motivation, know that you are not alone. You can schedule a FREE Ignite the BOSS Discovery Session with me here. We are here to help you tap into your inner BOSS, overcome obstacles, and set a course for success.

Finally, remember that walking in your God-designed purpose is a journey. There will be highs and lows, but it’s important to stay focused on the One who has called you. God has placed a unique calling on your life, and as you continue to seek Him, He will guide you every step of the way.
