Do You Really Like Yourself? For Real??
When was the last time you asked yourself, "Do I really like me? What is it about me that I like?" Most people spend their lives speculating whether other people like them: "Does _____ like me?" "Am I attractive to _____?" "What have I done to upset _______?" The result is that you spend a considerable part of your life trying to please others, trying not to offend others, and trying to keep the peace, no matter what. Although you may be successful using this method, the result is that you spend most of your time doing what you think others would like. You are rarely effective. Just think for a moment: How much of my day is spent trying to please others? How much time do I spend thinking I mustn’t say that? Rather than trying to make others fall in love with you, how about falling in love with yourself?
